How to Preset a Good DSP Setting for Sanway VR10&S30 Powered Line Array

Powered VR10&S30 is one of our hot-sell line array this year, which is a single 10 inch top speaker couple with a powered dual 15 inch sub powered line array system.

 

VR10 is a compact bi-amped top speaker, consists of one 10 inch LF neodymium drivers and two 1.75 inch HF compression driver to deliver clean and loud sound. Not only is it lightweight and compact, but also can it provide high sensitivity and SPL.

Powered S30 super bass subwoofer, features with 2 units 15 inch neodymium drivers to deliver powerful bass. we mounted the D3 1800W+900W+500W at 4ohms 3CH module inside the cabinet box of S30. the 1800W channel to drive the S30 dual 15" subwoofer; the 900w+500w channel will be used to drive another two top VR10, also please download the user manual and DSP software of our D3 plate module from for reference.

 

Powered VR10&S30 line array system built for installed applications are extremely flexible. This system has 20 factory preset configurations that can be modified and stored in the user presets.  With its three channel full function onboard loudspeaker DSP, with a crossover, parametric EQ filters, limiting and alignment delay, it eliminates the need for outboard loudspeaker processors.

 

How to preset a good DSP setting for VR10&S30

VR10&S30 active line array is a convenient and flexible system. Good system is important for the event, but the knowledge of preset a good DSP processing path is more significant.

 

Here is our suggestion to preset a good DSP setting for powered VR10&S30

 

First Step, the good crossover point of the system:

 

S30 crossover：41HZ（24db-Bwoth)~115HZ（24db-LR)

 

VR10 crossover for LF : 102Hz(24db-Bworth)~1542Hz(24db-LR)

 

VR10 crossover for HF：1634Hz(24db-Bworth)~20100Hz(24db-LR) 

3 bands EQ：3084Hz minus  -4.6db.   Q:2.4    4621Hz minus -1.8db Q 2.0
